A few from a recent little family session in Tofino 🌊

This past weekend I had the honour of documenting

This past weekend I had the honour of documenting C & B’s bright, colourful wedding at Gowlland Harbour Resort on Quadra Island. 🌿
.
It was my first time photographing a wedding here and wow, what a beautiful little pocket of BC. Tucked amongst the forest and coastline, Gowlland Harbour Resort has that relaxed, intimate West Coast feel.
.
But as beautiful as the setting was, it was all the personal details C & B brought into the day that made it feel completely their own.
.
Handwritten notes were waiting for each guest at dinner. Handmade spoon rests became wedding favours. And every piece of stationery was thoughtfully created by the bride herself. So many thoughtful details that showed the people closest to them how grateful they were to have them there.
.
A good reminder that you don’t need to buy everything new or follow every wedding trend. Sometimes the pieces that mean the most are the ones made by hand or created with a whole lot of love.
.
If you’re dreaming up a wedding somewhere along the coast, I will forever be a fan of days that feel personal and completely like you.

Wedding season has been in full swing for a bit no

Wedding season has been in full swing for a bit now, which always pulls me away from posting regularly and showing up online to this little corner of the internet. (Incredibly grateful for those of you who lend me your eyeballs for a brief second to enjoy some pretty portraits xx)

However, I didn’t want to miss posting these absolutely adorable maternity snaps from June with K & S 🌿
